Formed in 1996, McNair Business Development Inc. is a business first management firm focused on creating value by improving the business performance of its clients and working on new business ventures. With 14 consultants on staff, McNair is the largest management and business consulting firm in Saskatchewan and is well connected to the provincial economy. McNair deliverables include developing and implementing economic development strategies and business concepts, business and market feasibility studies and business strategies and business plans, and outsourcing management and business services. For unique joint venture opportunities clients are referred to a sister company, McNair Ventures Management Inc.

Outsourcing
Beyond consulting, McNair has operational experience and capacity to manage and operate business processes on behalf of a client, allowing the client to focus on other areas. We apply our expertise to the need and take responsibility for the delivery. We have outsourced services to set up new business ventures, to establish and manage better business processes, to support a business expansion, and to effect an organizational turnaround.
Using McNair for outsourcing lowers risks, saves time, improves quality and creates value. Outsourcing from McNair can range from general management agreements for the start up of new ventures to providing business and product development services, to managing service delivery. We have experience establishing new business processes in collaboration with clients and then in some cases transitioning the processes over to the client for long term sustainable operation.
Joint Ventures
McNair is able to take business opportunities to the next level through arranging joint ventures on behalf of clients or in some cases by becoming a partner through McNair Ventures Management Inc. When McNair Ventures becomes involved in a venture we act as an owner, not as an investor. We focus on solid business plans and the execution of operational plans that will create value over the long term.
