Doug McNair, President
MSc, MBA, ICD.D

Doug McNair is President. Mr. McNair has extensive management and business consulting experience in the areas of corporate governance, business strategy, business performance, and business systems for clients in Canada and the US, in both the private and public sectors. He has advised on new business strategies, new business models, the creation of new business ventures and the transformation of existing business to become innovative. As an entrepreneur, Mr. McNair's experience includes establishing, advising and investing in the establishment of a number of successful new business ventures.

Mr. McNair has a MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business in London Ontario, and has earned the Institute of Corporate Directors certified director designation. He is a current member of the Regina Regional Economic Development Board and is a certified soccer coach.

 

Shanna McNair, Vice-President, Finance
B.Comm, CA, CMA

Shanna McNair is Vice-President, Finance. Ms. McNair is responsible for the financial management and reporting of McNair Business Development Inc., and provides financial management and accounting services to clients.

Ms. McNair has over twenty years of experience in the public and private sectors. Her experience ranges from auditing government departments, agencies and Crown corporations, to assisting in the set up and management of a new computerized accounting system for a Crown corporation, to being a financial analyst with a large agricultural private company. Ms. McNair enjoyed teaching accounting classes as a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina.

Ms. McNair has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, and is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. She volunteers extensively at her children's schools.

 

Don Ross, Vice-President, Aboriginal Business Development

Mr. Ross brings over twenty years of business development and community relations to McNair Business Development from his direct work experience with First Nations and Metis communities. Mr. Ross is a founding member of Gabriel Housing Corporation and Gabriel Dumont Institute of applied Arts and Research. Mr. Ross has served as a senior advisor to 3rd Vice Chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN), Program Director with the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples, and a Consultant with the Public Services Commission of Saskatchewan, City of Regina. Mr. Ross completed the internship program with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

Mr. Ross is presently the President of the Aboriginal Investment Fund, President of RES Managements LTD and President of Premier Developments Corp. Mr. Ross is a member of the George Gordon First Nation.

  

Farrah Banilevic, Business Consultant
B.Comm

Farrah Banilevic joined our team as a Business Consultant in 2007. She has a Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and will complete a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina in spring 2008. Ms. Banilevic has over 10 years experience designing and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans in the financial services industry and Crown sector. Her past roles include Marketing Manager, Senior Consultant and most recently Project Manager at a Crown corporation. Ms. Banilevic focuses her efforts on developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans that enable companies to leverage their brand, market position and service delivery channels to increase firm growth and profitability.

 

Lyndon Grunewald, Business Associate

Lyndon is a Business Associate. Lyndon has a background in marketing, management, and is a sales professional with extensive product knowledge that includes: life, commercial, home, auto, travel, group benefits and business insurance. Lyndon has gained a reputation as a man with an impeccable work ethic, high standards of integrity, and as a self-motivated team player. While at Mount Royal College in Calgary in the Entrepreneurial and Business studies department, Lyndon won an award because of his detailed and extensive business plan which he later used to run his growing business in Calgary in the pet services industry.

Lyndon Grunewald is a prolific public speaker with over 15 years experience and is also involved in community service and projects. He will be starting his MBA at the University of Regina in the fall.

 

Deana Gyorfi-Fieldgate, Office Manager / Quality Analyst

Deana Gyorfi-Fieldgate is Office Manager / Quality Analyst and assists the President and Vice President, Finance for McNair Business Development Inc. Ms. Gyorfi-Fieldgate has 15 years experience in the private sector pertaining to accounting, administration, technology and quality systems. Ms. Gyorfi-Fieldgate holds a Diploma in computerized accounting systems, and continues her studies pertaining to accounting and quality systems.

Ms. Gyorfi-Fieldgate received Internal Quality Auditor Certificate in ISO 9001:2000 in January 2004, which provides the framework for the MBD Management System. She is a member of ASQ (American Society for Quality).

As Management System Lead for McNair, Ms. Gyorfi-Fieldgate oversees a team of internal auditors. Much of the work over the past 4 years has been developing Quality Management Practices and organizational effectiveness. She works directly with employees, management and clients to transfer quality principals to improve customer satisfaction, competitiveness and financial performance by understanding the link between quality improvement and performance.

Ms. Gyorfi-Fieldgate is involved and volunteers regularly in her children's extra curricular and school activities.

  

Rob Howie, Business Consultant
B.Admin

Rob Howie joined the McNair team in 2007 as a Business Consultant. Mr. Howie is a Management Consulting professional with a proven record of growing and improving profitability in small and large businesses. He brings with him years of experience in private business having, most recently, come from operating a real-estate investment and development company. Mr. Howie is a graduate of the University of Regina with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance. In the past 7 years he has worked in senior management with both new business start-up and Fortune 500 companies. Excited to bring his expertise in real-estate development and business to each client he works with; he is a welcome addition to our team.

 

Tyler LeCouffe, Senior Business Systems Consultant

Tyler LeCouffe is a Senior Business Systems Consultant with McNair. Mr. LeCouffe provides extensive technical knowledge through over 10 years of consulting and entreprenuerial endeavours. Mr. LeCouffe has a diverse experience in software development as well as business analysis, providing a well rounded mix in both the technology and the business community.

 

Stephen Malawski, Senior Business Systems Consultant
B.Sc

Stephen Malawski is a Senior Business Systems Consultant with McNair Business Development Inc. Stephen supports our existing projects, and works on new opportunities involving technology. Stephen has over 12 years of experience as an applications analyst, a systems integrator and has been a part business owner and IT manager for a collections firm.

  

Emily McNair, Administrative Assistant

Emily McNair joined the McNair team in September of 2007 as an Administrative Assistant. She is currently in her first year of Business Administration at the University of Regina and is planning to major in Marketing or Accounting. She provides support to the business office in the areas of contact database management, bookkeeping, and office administration, and support to the marketing program for the firm. Emily’s youthful enthusiasm and keen interest in the Business World adds to the culture at McNair Business Development.

Emily has many interests outside of university and work including dancing and singing and is a part time dance teacher at Applause Dance Academy.

 

Leslie Moldenhauer, Project Assistant / Quality Analyst / Privacy Officer

Leslie Moldenhauer is a Project Assistant / Quality Analyst / Privacy Officer with McNair Business Development. Ms. Moldenhauer assists McNair's client delivery group with a variety of diverse projects. Ms. Moldenhauer is also the Privacy Officer for McNair, and has the responsibility as the Management System Assistant.

Ms. Moldenhauer has been with McNair for 10 years, during which time she has been involved in many aspects of the business, most recently focusing on documenting procedures and roles for clients to help them effectively understand their business. As Management System Assistant, Ms. Moldenhauer works closely with the Management System Lead to ensure that McNair is continually improving the management system therefore improving customer satisfaction.

Ms. Moldenhauer is involved in her children's school activities and numerous after school activities.

 

Deverell Pelletier, Senior Business Consultant
B.Admin

Ms. Pelletier is a Management Major, with a Business Administration Degree from the University of Regina. Deverell has been actively involved in economic development for 14 years and has played an active role in establishing and managing projects that have created economic wealth for her clients. Deverell's philosophy is that we continue to accumulate knowledge through our life experiences and we can share our understanding of economic policies and management practices in an effort that is geared towards advocating and implementing initiatives and practices to enhance the economic standing and prosperity of the Aboriginal people within Canada. "There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that I have played a role in assisting our clients in realizing their dreams of independence."

 

Jessica Schmidt, Business Analyst
B.B.A.

Jessica Schmidt is a Business Analyst with McNair. Miss Schmidt's role within the consulting team includes development of consulting proposals, identification and initial scoping of projects, attending prospect and client presentations as required and assisting in the development of contacts and relationships with prospects. Miss Schmidt works closely with both business and aboriginal consulting and is particularly excited about the outcomes McNair's work has on the community.

Miss Schmidt holds a Certificate in Economics in addition to her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Finance. She has a keen interest in agriculture and is involved in sports in her community.

 

Nathan Sudom, Business Analyst
B.Comm

Nathan has a commerce degree from U of S with a major in finance and accounting. He has helped manage his father’s seed business. Nathan is a Business Analyst and helps our consultants with research, analysis and the preparation of proposals and business plans.

Nathan is currently undertaking level I in the CFA program and is an active volunteer with the Regina Humane Society.

Moe Martin, Senior Project Manager

Moe Martin is a Project Management Professional with over 20 years experience in the information technology field. He has broad-based management experience in information technology with a realistic understanding of business and technological constraints and opportunities. For over 13 years, Moe focused his career on project management, specializing in managing and delivering quality software products and systems, process and quality improvement, and methodology implementation. Since March 2002, Moe has been sharing his expertise as a presenter of Project Management theory and its practical application through training sessions and private client consultation.

Moe holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. He joined the PMI in September 1997, and received his PMP designation in 1999. Committed to the community, Moe performs volunteer work as a Lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, served as the Assistant Vice President of Strategy & Planning for the Executive Organizing Committee for the 2003 Grey Cup, and served as the Vice President Professional Certification on the Regina/South Saskatchewan PMI Chapter Board of Directors from June 2000 to October 2003.
